STARK COUNTY TOURISM COMMITTEE

In 2003, a private firm was funded with a grant from the Stark County Board and the four municipalities of Bradford, LaFayette, Toulon and Wyoming. The firm was named the Stark County Economic Development Associates. It is through this firm that the Stark County Tourism Committee exists and functions. Stark County has two full time economic development coordinators with Denny Rewerts as our resident Americorps VISTA appointee and Dede Rice as our University of Illinois-Extension appointee. With the support of the county, all our towns and villages, the schools, and the financial institutions in Stark County we are excited to be launching the most coordinated, united, and aggressive push for Economic Development in Stark County ever!
